Shell today celebrates the 75ᵗʰ anniversary of the first race together with Scuderia Ferrari in the Formula 1 World Championship at the Monaco GP in 1950.
The SF-25 race car will carry a 75-year partnership graphic at this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix to mark the occasion.
The long-standing partnership has recently received a multi-year extension, with Shell continuing to contribute its expertise across Shell V-Power race fuels and Shell Helix performance lubricants, and extends to exploring new products and services that can help accelerate decarbonisation on and off the track, including EV charging, EV fluids and renewable power.

Lorenzo Giorgetti, Chief Racing Revenues Officer, Ferrari said: “We are incredibly proud to celebrate 75 years of partnership with Shell, a collaboration that has been an integral part of our story since the very first race of Scuderia Ferrari. This milestone is a testament to the enduring strength and mutual commitment of our relationship, and to Shell’s unwavering dedication to innovation in fuel and lubricants. Together, we have shared victories, challenges, and a relentless pursuit of performance and excellence. As we look ahead to a new era of sustainable motorsport, we are excited to continue building the future of racing side by side — both on the track and beyond.”
