Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 S1 is built around Castrol’s Intelligent Molecules, which cling to your engine to protect it from the moment you start.
Up to 75% of engine wear happens while the engine warms up. When the engine stops, ordinary oil drains off critical parts — Castrol Magnatec’s Intelligent Molecules don’t. They cling to the engine like a magnet, providing an extra layer of protection so the oil is working from the moment you start, dramatically reducing engine wear (as tested in the industry Sequence IVA wear test).
What is it suitable for?
Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 S1 is suitable for petrol and diesel vehicles where the manufacturer specifies an ACEA C2, API SN or earlier 5W-30 lubricant. It also suits Fiat vehicles that require a 5W-30 lubricant meeting Fiat 9.55535-S1.
