Castrol Magnatec 0W-30 C2 has been developed to meet the unique demands of modern driving, when much of the strain on an engine happens the moment you start.
Around 75% of engine wear can occur at start-up, and stop-start city driving — acceleration, slowing down and idling — only increases it. Castrol Magnatec clings like a magnet to critical engine parts and locks in place from the moment you start, delivering 50% better engine wear protection (tested using an industry-standard wear test, measured versus the relevant industry limit), safeguarding the valvetrain, timing chain, pistons and bearings from damage and wear.

Castrol Magnatec 0W-30 C2 is suitable for petrol and diesel vehicles where the manufacturer specifies an ACEA C2, 0W-30 lubricant. It carries PSA approvals B71 2302 and B71 2312 and meets Fiat 9.55535-DS1/GS1, making it suitable for engines built to those requirements.
