Product Description
Castrol Alpha SP 320 is part of the Castrol Alpha SP range of high-quality industrial gear oils, based on highly refined mineral oil and enhanced with extreme-pressure (EP) additive technology for good thermal stability and high load-carrying capacity.
The EP additive system delivers high load-carrying capacity together with microscopic (micropitting) wear protection, helping prevent destructive wear at the micro level, extend gear life and meet the demands of smaller, higher-output gearboxes.
What is it suitable for?
The Alpha SP range is recommended for the lubrication of industrial gearboxes using forced-circulation or splash/oil-bath lubrication, including spur and helical gears and some lightly loaded worm gears. It is compatible with the ferrous and non-ferrous metals used in industrial gear units and with most common seal materials.
